Following the teams failure to make the playoffs, Adam Ali was removed from his post as Head Coach. In what proved to be a very turbulent off season, eight coaching changes were made - including the return of All as a positional coach!.
The team itself has had a massive overhaul with Knapp, Burkett, Jones, Means, Alvarez and several others all becoming cap casualties - the team also traded away four of this season's draft choices, three of whom had exceptional camps for their new teams. Dewayne Means departure leaves Jeffrey Marcus as the last original Admiral.
The Offense has a new QB and a completely new set of WR's as well as two new tight ends. The O line too has had an overhaul with two new starters. Defense was not spared in the butchering of this 'pig', Larry Atkinson was a big off season trade, allowing us to shift Abbott to CB. Number two pick Jermaine Lopez will start opposite the veteran with Cook moving into the starters role at free safety.
The D line has been bolstered by the arrival of rookies Foreman and Deleon. Whilst neither is currently slated as a starter, both should see significant playing time. Francisco Boyd is expected to move on to pastures new prior to pre-season in another cost cutting cap move.
The main priority will be to get the teams new quarterback signed on to a long term deal. The Admirals look likely to go into the season with less than the allotted 53 man roster for the first time. If the team can remain healthy, they should finish around the 8-8 mark. However with a mass of draft picks banked, the Admirals don't expect to be down for long.
